Twinkie (Foster to Adopt Program)

Twinkie is one of our babies that was found in western Wellington. She and her siblings were observed for several days, but their mother never returned. Twinkie and her siblings were introduced to one of our nursing mothers who quickly took them over as her own. Twinkie has received lots of love and attention from her foster family and is very sweet and affectionate. Like all kittens, she loves to play and chase things. She is very curious and loves to chase toys, and her siblings’ tails! Even though she has not been raised with dogs, she would do well if introduced correctly.

As a kitten, her adoption fee is $100, plus $15 for the mandatory rabies license. We are a 100% volunteer organization, so every penny goes to covering the cost of food, fostering, meds, veterinary care, and ensuring they have the best possible life by finding a loving home with the right person. Adoption fees also help us “pay it forward” to keep rescuing more cats and kittens from terrible circumstances.

All of our cats and kittens are handled with loving care, tested for feline leukemia and AIDS, vaccinated, wormed, microchipped, receive flea treatment, and are examined by a veterinarian before being spayed or neutered. If any cat or kitten has special needs, we do whatever it takes to help them.
