Kashmir (Needs foster to adopt)
Kashmir is sister to Pongo and Perdita, but she is the only one who is a polydactyl – which means she has extra toes on her front paws. They’re also sometimes called “Hemingways”, after the cats roaming the old Hemingway estate in Key West. As you can see, Kashmir is a beautiful kitten, and she is also super sweet and playful and silly! You will fall in love with her if you give her the chance.
Even though she’s very young and doesn’t weigh enough to be spayed yet, you can start making Kashmir your own with our special “Foster to Adopt” program. This program allows you to take your new kitten home now, and then return to us just long enough for surgery, micro-chipping, and final shots. During the program, you will need to do bi-weekly phone check-ins and comply with any necessary medical needs. We will support your kitten’s transition with expert advice and guidance during this time. Once everything is finalized, your kitten will be ready to live with you furever.
As a kitten, his adoption fee is $100, plus $15 for the mandatory rabies license. We are a 100% volunteer organization, so every penny goes to covering the cost of food, fostering, meds, veterinary care, and ensuring they have the best possible life by finding a loving home with the right person. Adoption fees also help us “pay it forward” to keep rescuing more cats and kittens from terrible circumstances.
All of our cats and kittens are handled with loving care, tested for feline leukemia and AIDS, vaccinated, wormed, microchipped, receive flea treatment, and are examined by a veterinarian before being spayed or neutered. If any cat or kitten has special needs, we do whatever it takes to help them.
